Read the summary and answer the questions below.
Diana’s Trip
Diana is a scientist living and working in Berlin. She arrived in Istanbul to attend a two-day meeting on behalf of an EU-funded project, but she stayed for eight days. After the meeting finished, she did a city trip with her two friends, Zeynep and Mehtap, who live in Istanbul. Everyday, Diana had the following expenses:
- Two taxi rides
- Three metro trips
- Three meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Two snacks (afternoon tea)
Diana stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel and stayed in the following accommodation:
- Superior Deluxe room during the first three nights
- Junior Suite during the last four nights
She bought six packages of traditional Turkish tea and cookies as souvenirs for her husband and coworkers in Germany. All the aforementioned expenses included VAT in the receipts/invoices.
Diana flew to Istanbul in Economy Class and departed to Berlin in Business Class.
