Each course is typically divided into three modules. The modules introduce, explain, and build upon concepts throughout the course. Each module culminates in a knowledge check and recommended resources to further explore the topics covered.

The courses are designed to take approximately two hours to complete. However, they are not timed, so you are welcome to take longer if you wish to complete all reflection activities or need more time, or shorter if you progress quickly.

You are free to jump into the module and pages of your choosing. However, it is recommended that you navigate in sequential order as concepts are introduced, explained, and built upon.

To receive your certificate of course completion, you must meet the following criteria:

Score 70% on the Knowledge Check in each module of a course

Submit the course evaluation survey on the last page and click the ‘Mark Done’ button at the bottom of the survey page

View every course page

The reflection activities are optional. However, it is strongly recommended that you take time to reflect on your work, how the concepts apply to your professional environment, and how they may support change and growth. Doing so can make a positive impact on your professional growth and give you a record to reference.

At any point in the course, you may return to the ‘My Reflections’ page at the start of each course to review and save all of your reflection submissions.

Knowledge Checks are assessments, often multiple-choice or true/false items, typically located at the end of modules. They test your understanding of the concepts covered in the module. You need to score 70% on each Knowledge Check to complete a course.

If you have any problems navigating a course or find any components in need of technical review, please reach out through the communication channels listed in the Support page. Remember to mention the course name and page title when reporting issues.

Yes, there is a course evaluation survey on the last page of each course. Taking this survey helps us match our courses more closely to your interests and needs by sharing what you enjoyed and what could be improved upon.

Yes, all courses offered by KnE Learn are self-paced, allowing participants to learn at their own convenience.

Yes, the courses are accessible online, allowing participants to learn from anywhere at any time. As there are no scheduled classes or assignment deadlines, KnE Learn is not restricted by time zones.

Yes, you will automatically receive your certificate of course completion upon meeting all the completion criteria. You can access your certificates from the ‘My Courses’ page.
