This workshop will offer valuable insights into how to organise and create a high impact scientific conference programme, tailored to the needs and priorities of your academic community. Sharing insights gained from 15 years’ experience of organising and chairing academic conferences across the world, Dr Emily Choynowski will outline how to select the conference theme, based on trending topics and relevant developments; how to create a relevant and appealing Call for Papers to attract expert speakers; how to build a high impact and appealing programme to attract delegates.

Dr. Emily Choynowski is Chief Academic Officer at Knowledge E, overseeing the Research Development and Dissemination division, which provides scholarly content, academic publishing solutions, manuscript preparation support, and capacity building services to a wide range of organisations and academic bodies across the globe. She is also the Founder and Director of the Forum for Open Research in MENA, working with key regional stakeholders to promote the development and implementation of open science policies and practices across the Arab region – and in this position she serves as the Scientific Chair for the Annual Forum for Open Research.
